(A) Apple TV now has out-of-the-box DVR functionality for over-the-air HDTV.
OR
(B) Jobs is going to sit this one out and in lieu of the the usual product announcements, let Apple board member and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore give a new and improved Keynote presentation about carbon emissions.
I just got my Mac mini / eyeTV HD DVR setup working, so both would suck, but (B) would suck more.

But Apple's server is getting hammered right now... I got through to print out the affected serial numbers, then powered down my AlBook, just to be safe, popped out the battery to see if I had a lucky number, and now that I know I do, I can't get back onto the site.
Oh well. I'll try again later.
One thing I wonder about is what the consequences of keeping the 'dangerous' battery as a back-up would be... I'm not really worried about it exploding, but will the Apple police come after me for not returning the old battery once they ship me a new one? Obviously, it would be my own fault if my laptop exploded when using the old battery, but I'm willing to take that risk.

My battery serial number was in the 3K437 range, but the website accepted my computers serial number, but not the battery...
So i changed the last letter of my battery serial number from an A to a C (B diden't work)
And it went thru.....

The iPhone 4's 5 mp camera has superior quality against its competitors 8mp. The reason being is that the quality of the lens that is in the iPhone is higher than the opposing. I hope to see crystal clear hdr photos and 1080p 30fps video. 1080p on the next iPad would rock!

What is the truth exactly? I understand what you mean that 3G was more along then some think but I get the impression (and I could be wrong) that you are saying that it is Apples fault for AT&Ts network issues?
I was referring to this sentence (below) from the article. It's false. The truth is 3G in general, not just AT&T's network was very mature.
Next is the fact that Apple did not choose a chip that was 100% compatible with the network, despite being advised of what the correct chip was, as tested and proven by other manufacturers. I bought the original iPhone as my personal phone, in addition I carried my work issued 3G Samsung Blackjack. When I could not make a call or hold a signal with my iPhone, I'd pickup the Blackjack and it was loud, clear and rarely ever dropped a call. So that was proof positive that AT&T was not the problem.
I really - really like Apple, but dislike some of their tactics like finger pointing when a problem arises.
A familiar example is the very moment that the antenna issue came up, instead of Jobs acting professional and saying something like " we were unaware and will look into it ". No, he had to be a condescending jerk and say " you're holding it wrong". That's arrogant to the extreme, uncalled for, and unacceptable. Apple tends to give technology a very "feminine" touch - meaning the products tend to have very curvy, attractive, almost sensual lines....Attractive, minimalist design will always have some association with feminine sensibilities. This is normal.

It all depends what you want to do in Vegas. If you're wanting to go to restaurants, shows, and/or spa then $1500 is plenty for a few nights of that and you'll have some left over for quarter VP/slots. If you're wanting to go to the club and buy 4 bottles every night...then $1500 isn't going to get you very far.

SIRI rocks! The BEST, by far, voice recognition right out of the gate I have EVER tried-it is quite amazing and I wish Apple all the best integrating it-great choice! Put it into a remote control to provide functions- "turn to sports channel" " record this movie" "next, previous" etc.............
