very big time after they saw the elelection results. They knew they were losing the House and Tea Partiers were coming in so they should of quickly one threw.
Much easier said then done. Remember, it takes 60 votes to get anything done in the Senate and the Republicans obstructed virtually ever bill brought up.

I called my local verizon store. girl told me she would only sell an original ipad bundled with their mifi. Forget it.
Go in the store and talk to someone else. I got one no mifi, no problem.

"Imminent?" Don't you mean "Actually here?"
You are in slow motion today MR! But I still love you.
On the 27th, it was imminent. There is another thread that mentions the release.

Doesn't airplay need to work before they can license it?

I don't buy it. What a nightmare that would be if just touching that area of the iPod took you back to the home screen. (Even the MacBook trackpads require a physical 'click' in order to register.) This would be a usability disaster.
Couldn't agree more. While I like that Apple strives to get rid of buttons, I think that there ought to be an exception in a case like this. Besides, it's a total usability plus to have the ONLY button take you home.

Everyone is dressed up but Steve....awesome.
He did wear a tux to the oscars at least.
That's pretty interesting, I would find it more PR-Stunty to see him in his Steve outfit at the Oscars than at a Dinner with one of the most important people of the world.

I'd rather have T-Mobile than Verizon just because of costs. T-Mobile actually has decent plans compared to other cellular companies.

Not interested - the Tom Tom app is great, and I don't have to worry about data coverage. When you drive around in rural areas, it can definitely be a big issue. There are plenty of much cheaper apps that download maps on the fly. Free traffic is a plus though - that may be the one selling point. I have to pay a yearly fee with Tom Tom.

Hhm, I still see this bug, that applying a custom design in Powerpoint does not change the font of the presentation to the font of the design-template.
Very annoying!

Same reason most online stores don't ship to Nigeria.
If statistics show problem online fraud areas in a much higher percentage than other cities, it makes sense to temporarily curb it.
+1. This whole signal is at fault thing is really getting old.

While I agree, I just can't come to think of any other way to display the phones OS. And with pushing ios like apps on the Lion, I just do not see a new look happening. Not when it is so popular. Notifications on the other hand....
People seem to be moaning (no offence intended) about iOS notifications a lot recently but I don't remember it happening before a couple of months ago. Why is that? I'm a Mac user but not an iOS user so I wasn't aware they sucked so much.

If you drive for work, there is a good chance you drive in the same areas, I can't see this app not caching maps.
I'm national, I've driven all over the UK this year. My cell phone is on O2, and the 3G coverage is very poor. I've opted for Orange on the iPad as their 3G is much better.

If people are the greatest asset then paying people to diminish that asset is a very dumb idea.
Who says people are the greatest asset? Do you know what happens when bacteria overwelms its environment? Have you ever heard of too much of a good thing? ;)

My wife is from a professional management environment and is not very impressed with iWork, pages specifically. We are doing a trial of it and we are thinking of doing the same for Office 2011 but are wondering that if in trial mode, will we be able to access the update?

-When she makes her way to the back of the store to go to the back area, jump in front of the door, and say something witty like "MEAT PUPPET!" she'll be surprised. This is the moment of opportunity!
-Quickly crouch and grab the back of her legs, lift her and sling her over your shoulder.
-Then, sprint with her over your shoulder as fast as you can to the front of the store while making bellowing grunting sounds, even the occasional word like "UNGA!" or "MRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
She will be both surprised and delighted that your ferocious behavior has gained the attention of her employees, that she'll willingly be your slave for years to come.
Haha, I love this suggestion :)
My only help would be the ever useful phrase "Does this smell like chloroform to you?" :D
You should wander into the store with one of those various hotties you have been pictured with in the member photo thread and make her jealous :) then she'll try and steal you away for herself.

BTW - using Time Machine with this is a really bad idea!
If your laptop gets stolen... so does the card inside it!
Much better to keep your backups at home!

Even then we're still talking about hundreds of articles. I think it would be faster to design a structure as best we can, implement it, then fix any problems if there are any. That way we might have to edit some articles twice, rather than definitely having to edit all the articles in the beta categories twice.

...I've only had one bad experience w/ general anesthesia, but it was an unusual situation so I don't give it much weight...
Same here, the only time I had a problem was when they had to keep me under longer than expected because the idiot stand-in denist took the wrong two teeth out realised and went back for the right two!

Exactly! That's why the iMacs didn't get the Intel procssors until 7 months after the Mac Pros, right?
Well the iMacs did get the Core 2 Dou processors after the Mac Pro. The Mac Pros came out with Core 2 Dou first.
The PowerMacs/Mac Pros are 64 bit systems. So Apple couldn't upgrade the Mac Pros with 32 bit processors from its old 32 bit processors. Because people who have Powermacs/Mac Pros needed the 64 bit processor.
