A little off topic, but question for those who need Office software, and also run Parallels/Fusion: Do you prefer Office For Mac, or do you prefer to run "regular" Office in Parallels/Fusion? Thanks.
Well, you got support for plugins as far as I know in Office 2007/2010 while I don't know if you have it in Office 2008/2011. One of the plugins for example is Ribbon Hero, an interactive tutorial for Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote.

If the US Government shuts down, it'll be the last time I ever vote for a Republican Congressional candidate. I've only ever voted for one, current Senator Richard Burr, but I won't do it again.

Seeing as apple now has a majority of auto makers making connectivity and now the airline industry is getting on board, this is a major blow to the Zune. Neither cars nor airplanes will come with every connection possible so that any media player can be used. This is a great step for apple and potential apple customers.
How about a built-in mag safe connector for the airplanes too? :)
Exactly! How many airlines are going to pony up $X-million to outfit their fleet with the newest proprietary media plug-in? Zilch. They're going to say to M$ and the rest, "Sorry, we just spent our pilots' pensions on ipod connectivity, come back in 3 years and we'll see what we can do..." :D

Apple never said they removed the BL KB because it is a luxury feature. In fact, none of us knows why Apple removed it.
You right. But that's a very common theory here on these threads. I use that analogy to suggest how ridiculous that would be if Apple really did remove it to 'differentiate' the product lines.

I envy those that will have MarioKart on this, along with all the other games that I'm sure will be great.
I wasn't even aware there was a Mario Kart game for it. Looks like I have my first 3DS game preordered :o. Was looking for a good launch title to buy too (since I'm probably just going to use mine for DS and GB games for a good while).
The region lock bothered me too, but apparently it's at the discretion of publishers. So I'm happy that it wont be in all games (just most :p).
I'd be leaping over the moon if it was region free.

You need to have a Macboook or imac. Go to app store. Buy. Xcode for $5. Install. Hook up iPad. Bring up xcode. It will detect iPad. Click "use for development" then just use your apple id credentials. Finally go to ipad dsettings and click on yes for multitasking getures.

I am tempted to buy one for this reason. I was able to look at one in a store earlier today and wow, its ugly.. I really prefer the look of the DSi a lot more, the 3DS just looks horrible compared to the DSi.
The 3D aspect really means nothing to me as I cannot see anything in 3D (glasses based or this I assume) because of my vision issues. The idea of having better graphics compels me, however I'm not sure if I will get one just yet.
Go for the NGP then :p

Why? Everyone needs to be taking cuts including PPH. I am a Democrat, however I know if it were not for the Republicans controlling the House right now the talk would be of increasing spending instead of cutting spending.
I think everyone can agree that we need to get spending under control and every department and entitlement program should be looked at and take cuts if necessary. What I would really like to see is an across the board 10% cut if I had it my way. That won't get rid of the deficit, but it would help.
They are not looking to cut funding for PP, they are looking to eliminate funding.
This is all a circle jerk. They are arguing over less than 1% of the budget. We are 6 months into the budget year already. Can you imagine what the 2012 budget negotiations will be like?
