Friday is usually the miscellaneous sessions day, when the less important (or popular I might say) sessions are held. Of course you can leave whenever you want but Friday is still a full day. I would plan on staying the entire day if you can. Leaving Saturday morning is best as you can relax on Friday :)
Last year, in the original schedule, all sessions on Friday ended before lunch and lunch was the last item on the schedule. During the week, they added a couple of repeat sessions in the first slot after lunch. But, still, all sessions were over by 3PM.
I don't expect Apple to post the full schedule 'till a couple weeks before the conference. (I agree it would be nice if they posted it sooner.)

have you tried adding the NAS to your login items via system preferences > accounts > login items ?
this will ensure the NAS mounts automatically when you boot your Mac.
Just tried that to no avail. It comes up with a little box saying "Connection failed. The server"nasbox" may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection and then try again"
I have noticed when i go into finder and click on the nasbox it auto logs in but for about 2 seconds it says "connecting" and then works when i launch itunes.:confused:

I don't know what kind of posh school would buy iPads! What would they do with them? Hand them out to students and go "hey guys, free iPad!" or would they allow students to browse the web during lessons? Or is it only to read books? In that case, books are cheaper, and offer a more book-like experience... don't they? The idea of school text books being available for the iPad is cool, allowing students to only carry the iPad around, but I don't think text books will get made into digital versions anytime this decade. Teachers usually want students to use books that were published like 5 years ago... I think a laptop would be more suitable for students, but only at university, not at school, since they don't allow you to submit typed text or study from the internet anyway.

I agree with the first half of your post, but the "regular people" need to stop trying to blame the government for their problems. If they have a crappy life or can't afford something they think they need, it probably isn't because they are overtaxed.

Apple ISN'T OBJECTING TO USING THE WORD PODCAST What they are doing is trying to stop this company from doing things like marketing ipodcast and things like that.. AGAIN APPLE SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED THAT PODCAST WAS TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THEIR CEASE AND DESIST REQUEST.

I dont understand why MS would put a huge vent on top of the unit. Dust will clog the fans like crazy, and with the 360's horrid stability record i would be very nervous laying it down flat on my shelf.
There are huge grilles on both the top and bottom, and on the side. Obviously, everyone knows that heat is the main issue for the original 360's problems, so MS seems to be doing everything they can to ensure that air can get in, no matter which way it is laying. Time will tell how well it works.

It does seem superfluous to have 3 ports now that wifi is (finally) built in and Kinect has its own port.
Well, they got rid of the slots for their older Memory Units, so I'm guessing the plethora of USB ports are to make up for that. Now that you can use regular USB drives for that purpose, they need to make sure you can have a couple plugged in at once, along with any other accessories you might need (guitars, wheels, etc).

I have a Verizon iPhone, and I had it happen. At midnight last night, my phone rolled back to 11pm. I went in to change it manually, and turning off DST corrected it. I left DST and rebooted my phone, and its worked perfectly since. It stayed at midnight then, and this morning, it has successfully rolled forward.
So yes, there is a bug, but a reboot fixed it for me.

Not all lives are "equal". One life of an important financial worker who perished at WTC might be worth more than 1000 soldiers. That's the order of society. A soldier's life is meant to be sacrificed to protect the worker. Some "warriors" are born to be this way, like army ants. The worker is more important because he makes guns to put into the hands of new soldiers. And of course, as you may have noticed, many of the front line (infantry) consists of would be rejects of society that have been conditioned and given a chance to serve a greater purpose than to become delinquents or menial workers that they would have been. "Unimportant Lives" in the big picture despite what their own families think of them. That's the unwritten rule.
I disagree with the difference you're placing between financial workers and soldiers. For all the financial workers lost in the twin towers, others were keen to get in to the industry and take their places. Take Cantor Fitzgerald - almost wiped out by the attack (638 employees killed), it didn't take them long to rebound (http://www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,1891774,00.html).
I was on the phone to colleagues in 7 world trade on the day of the attack, and talked with them later about their experience (quite a few took the opportunity to 'reappraise their lives' and stepped away from the industry). They were replaced by others just as good, and our computer systems which were wiped out when the building fell were back on line in hours/days.
People are very resilient and soon bounce back from things like terrorist attacks. Useless waste, pork barrel 'homeland security' projects, 'traffic light' security levels and ongoing war create a steady wearying depression on a country - and I think the negative effect of that has been out of all proportion of the attack.

Wish i'd had a sailor pick me up and put me to bed when i was having surgery :D As i was a horny teenager at the time this would have been a dream come true waking up to a sexy sailor. Actually given those hospital gowns that may not have been such a good idea :D

I suspect the next iPhone, released in June, July, or September will be largely unchanged from the 4. An A5, sure. Maybe higher storage capacities. A "world" model, from what the Verizon exec said. Black or white. That's about it.
