Yes. I consulted a famous laywer earlier this month on this issue. She mentioned to me that normally USCIS don't have any issues in porting even if your previous I-140 is revoked, but law allows them to not let you port the PD (only in the case if previous employer revokes I-140). Just to clarify though, previous employer's I-140 withdrawal does not effect your existing green card processing as long as I-140 was approved and 180 days have passed since filing of I-485.

Yes, ICICI bank do not allow more than 4 part pre-payments in a year. I am not sure if it is a calendar year. You can ask ICICI for the part pre-payment terms. When I inquired, they sent me a PDF file.

Talk to employer and tell him to your wages immediately. You shouldn't care about client or any one else. If you left the company then he should pay you withing 15 days. If he says he will pay after two months 3 months then he will just changed his address and you wont be able to track him down.
So talk to him and tell him if you dont receive a check in 1 week you will file a complaint in DOL wages and service division and also file a lawsuit in court too.

whilei don t know what is salary as per market rate... i will not have any salary... only straight commission. but i guess i can ask the broker to pay me a salary but i will not be an agent ...more like someone working in the office like a secretary.

Friends,
I'm in a position where I have to file for I-140 again. In short, my company was purchased and I had to refile I-140 under the new company's name. Since the new company does not pay for Premium processing, I'll have to shell out the Premium processing fee from my pocket.
I need your honest opinion as to whether I must file with premium or regular? My PD: is June 2007.

The birth certificate you submitted has a delayed registration. Please comply with the following.
a) Hospital birth records which name the child and both parents.
b) Medical records which name the child and both parents
c)school records which name the child and bother parents.
d) Census records which name the child and both parents.
c) Religious records in the form of a certificate under the seal of the organization where the baptism, dedication, presentation or comparable e rite occurred following the birth,showing the date and place of the child's birth, the date of the religious ceremony, and the name of the child's parents.
I have the transfer certificate and the mark statements that has the father's name, my name and the date of birth. In general, schools and colleges in india, don't include the mother's name. Also i born at home, i don't have any hospital birth records and medical records. I am totally confused what records i need to provide to USCIS. I discussed some famous attorney, they too encouraging me to get any form of documents with my mother name back home in india. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I guess you already know but can't help to remind this :
USPS has a system of mail-forwarding. After leaving your old-address, if you notify USPS, USPS will continue to forward all your first class mails to your new address specified by you. You can do it Online @ usps.com... I guess they charge $1 for verifying your address from the CC address, if you do it online(which I did).
So, NO, your mails will not be lost!

I am not an expert but I would think by the way USCIS works you would be better off (in terms of time) starting a new application than trying to amend an existing EB application with them.

To be very clear what I�m saying below is what I heard from a friend. I do not have a first hand knowledge
My friend�s neighbor works full time for BOfA and went visiting to India in March and went to the Consulate in Hyd for stamping, his stamping was rejected with a reason that his H1 was sponsored by a TARP funded company. Now if this is true this could just be becasue at that point USCIS had not come out with its TARP guidelines and the situation now may be different. My friend knows this because the victim here called him to take care of his belongings in the APT etc..
Now I also work for a TARP bank full time and get to hear this from other colleges. Again I want to reiterate, I do not have first hand info. This was told to me by a friend whose neighbor now is supposedly stuck in India for a min of 6 months
If this guy in question was working for BOFA before this TARP CRAP was introduced the embassy can not deny him h1b stamp as he would have an approved petition and any petition approved before TARP CRAP law came into its existence can not be denied on the basis of TARP CRAP law.
I really doubt that his h1b was denied due to TARP.

Sorry forgot to provide some more details which i should have...NO i have not filed 485 as my PD is not current... my PD is Nov 2007. new company is saying they will start the GC only after 6 months....
SO looks like better to hang on to current desi company and hope for best on the H1 extension and any POE if i am traveling outside

I have applied for my I485 last month and received receipt numbers this week. At the time I consulted my company lawyer and he said it is possible apply from your wife's company for both of us and when USCIS gets to approving one application they will ask other one to be withdrawn.
The reason I asked and agreed to do so was manily because of the VERY unstable condition our my job. My wife's job is more stable than mine.
Now we are try to apply from my wife's company, her lawyer is saying that we can not have more than one I485 pending, had I known this - it more based on interpretation from the lawyers I would not have applied for my application just applied for my wife's.
Hoping that nothing may happen should I drop the idea of applying for I485 from my wife's company. Although my hope line is too thin.
My question is has any on in similar situation applied for 2 I485s. I am really confused as my lawyer says that it is possible and my wife's lawyer says it is not possible to have 2 pending I485 applications..

My guess is EB2 will return to current and EB3 will be retrogressed anything from 2002 to 2005. I doubt it will be any more current than that.
It's impossible to know. It depends how many applications were ready for approval by the time October hits.

I think he was just trying to make a point about being pressed by all parties involved (repubs/dems/liberals/conservatives in our case)
