That the Mac is for fun and PC is for working? I don't think so. I'd rate that as nothing more than an opinion, and a rather prejudicial opinion at that.
Count me as another part of "the population" who uses a Mac for business. All of it. In fact, my Windows box is relegated strictly to games. What you don't seem to recognize is that not everyone in business is a cubicle-dweller beholden to an IT department. We non cubicle-dwellers get to decide for ourselves what technology we use to run our businesses.

Oh come on... wireless ipods make so much sense...think of the iTv,would deffinately go good with a wireless ipod,and a sharing option wouldnt be so bad too.As a uni student the itunes share function was really good for when i wanted to listen to new music that i would have otherwise never listened to.Oh and the whole chick thing...man you have to be pretty lame to try and pull a chick with either of the options lol wireless or wired,tech rarely pulls anything lol

I wish I had this many sensor readings. All I get is the themperature in once CPU core. :-(
Is there any kenel extention to install so I can get the hard drive temp (more important to me than the cpu) and the other stuff? Or the fan readings?
I have a stock black Macbook with some more RAM (see sig). PLease PM me if you know something for getting all the sensor readings.

Just because some are successful does not mean all can be. There is plenty of racism still around in most countries, and yes it does effect the less off more than those that are well off.

You may have Windows 7 on your desktop but I doubt if you've ever used it properly. Now I've been a Mac user for a long time and I own an iMac and an MBP but let me tell you this, Windows 7 is definitely much better than Vista.
I really don't want to compare Windows to OSX but after using both Vista and 7, I am very confident when I say that Microsoft has really done a good job with Windows 7. Vista was a disaster though....

It's an OS. It should get the hell out of your way and let you worry about actually *doing* stuff with your computer. About the best thing I can say about Windows 7 is that it doesn't require me to care about it in the least, so in that, it's a success, although I still far prefer OS X.

Americans want to pay Walmart prices so that to happen these products need to be made elsewhere.
An iPad "made in USA" would probably cost twice.

- Upper-level salaries in Brazil are ALREADY higher than in the US or Europe, for reasons of economic growth and increased demand for skilled positions. A C-level executive in BR earns an average of $520,000, as opposed to some $400,000 in the US and Europe.

Apple is primarily an American company and they know that the news cycle will be heavy with Election Results. They can wait until next week and get more bang for the same buck. Europe (Australia, Asia, etc. ) will be just as happy with a Nov. 14 release as Nov. 7.

THAT is exactly what Im talking about. All you people bitch and complain about new things/developments that Apple might be working on (and later announce) and at first you all hate it. Then you get used to it, and then one day you find you love it. I hope the iPhone does come out and you all hate it and it becomes a phenomenal success....the same case the iPod once faced. Same with the new names (MacBook). Same with the switch to Intel (now look how lucky we are). Same with the Intel integrated graphi...well...no one likes those actually, but my point is stop thinking you're going to hate it because you're most likely going to end up getting it anyway.

With the millions of these the iphone takes maybe adding the millions the ipad2 would use is beyond the current capacity of their manufacturers?
Or, if production capacity would have meant to introduce the ipad2 later, they used what was available at the time.
As for $ 5 more, multiply that with the amount of devices they make and it's millions of dollars. In any company a net cost of $ 5 doesn't stay that way. It gets multiplied up to retail.
Deliberate ploy, don't think so. But, since we both don't have any proof..........

Tying it to a single computer's iTunes has been a nuisance from time to time.
